A hundred years after the earthquake of 1915, literature has only partly investigated the effects of reconstruction relating to adoption of ‘anti-seismic’ measures. The study of some sources, still poorly analysed, and the extension of firstly, the area studied i.e. outside the epicentre, and then of monumental and also residential buildings, open to fertile reflections on the methodologies of intervention and on the degree of knowledge and diffusion of new technologies.
