Adenocarcinomas of the small bowel are uncommon lesions. Factors related to this relative resistance are still unknown. Patients are usually seen late in the course of their illness when curative therapy is unlikely. A case of primary adenocarcinoma located in the jejunal loop employed for a Roux-en-Y esophago-jejunostomy is reported in this note.
