Firstly, the analysis focuses on the terminology used for verb classes: active, passive, neutral, regular, irregular. Secondly, terminology referring to verb modes and tenses is analysed. In both cases, the verbal terminology of the Italian-Spanish tradition is compared with that of other traditions, such as Spanish- Italian and Italian-French.
