The reconstruction process in an old town is configured as an intervention in a complex context due to extemal constraints and limitations that influence the management of work activities. Among the main criticai issues it is possible to identify some that are intrinsic in the state of the p laces, others related to the circumstances such as the small dimensions of the spaces available inside and outside the buildings, the difficulty of storage, the obstruction and dimensionai impediment caused by adjacent buildings, the presence ofneighbouring construction sites, users and activities unrelated to the reconstruction process. These criticai issues require a planning tool of a higher order that allows the management and contro l ofthe construction si te of each intervention. Abstract

Aim ofthis paper is, therefore, to illustrate the case study ofthe "Construction site plan" of the historic centre of Fontecchio, a minor village located in Province of L'Aquila (ltaly).
