A recently developed method, named as artificial material single layer (AMSL), is applied to predict the magnetic field distributions inside and outside an electric vehicle (EV) equipped with a wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. The AMSL method is very efficient to predict field reflection and transmission of conductive layers as EV bodyshell and it considerably reduces the computational cost compared to conventional Finite Element Method (FEM) an analysis. Some test cases are examined to illustrate the implementation of the AMSL method for WPT automotive applications. The obtained results demonstrate the accuracy of the method.

Abstract
A recently developed method, named as artificial material single layer (AMSL), is applied to predict the magnetic field distributions inside and outside an electric vehicle (EV) equipped with a wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. The AMSL method is very efficient to predict field reflection and transmission of conductive layers as EV bodyshell and it considerably reduces the computational cost compared to conventional Finite Element Method (FEM) an analysis. Some test cases are examined to illustrate the implementation of the AMSL method for WPT automotive applications. The obtained results demonstrate the accuracy of the method.Pubblicazioni consigliate
