In this work a Condition Monitor (CM) procedure has been applied to an automatic machine for cutting and bending of reinforcing bar, with the aim of classifying different wear levels of specific components, mainly using the information provided by sensors inside the system. The methodology has been applied to two different units of the considered machine, with the aim of testing its ability to distinguish different operating conditions in different points of the system. The results appear to be interesting and encouraging, showing a satisfactory ability to classify the different states of wear.

Abstract
In this work a Condition Monitor (CM) procedure has been applied to an automatic machine for cutting and bending of reinforcing bar, with the aim of classifying different wear levels of specific components, mainly using the information provided by sensors inside the system. The methodology has been applied to two different units of the considered machine, with the aim of testing its ability to distinguish different operating conditions in different points of the system. The results appear to be interesting and encouraging, showing a satisfactory ability to classify the different states of wear.File in questo prodotto:
