The aim of the study is increase the knowledge about a remarkable palace in L’Aquila city center. Based on inedited archival sources and on an architectural survey, the study investigates the transformation phases and their stratification over time in order to let a complete reading of its values. Particular attention was paid to the reconstruction of the social and cultural context and to the historical and political dynamics causally connected to each transformation.
