Background: Turbinate hypertrophy is one of the common causes of chronic nasal obstruction. In principle, therapeutic guidelines recommend medical treatment. Failure to treat turbinate thickening despite drug therapy may indicate the need for surgery. The main aim of this study was to determine the effect of minimally invasive thermoalative surgical techniques on people with turbinate hypertrophy. Methods: Among people with turbinates hypertrophy who visited the subject hospital between 2014 to July 2019, 452 people with turbinate hypertrophy had undergone to turbinoplasty using molecular quantic resonance. 179 of these patients were subjected to a questionnaire 60 days after surgery consisting of 7 multiple choice questions regarding: the pain felt during the surgery, the occurrence of post-operative disorders, the type of post-operative disorders, the duration of these disturbances, time taken to resume work, improvement of respiratory function, time to achieve improvement; Results: the results of the questionnaire were encouraging, showing that the intervention is highly tolerated, causes few postoperative complaints and complications allowing a rapid resumption of work. the subjective results are satisfactory and rapid. Conclusion: Turbinoplasty using molecular quantic resonance system is an effective treatment method because it expands nasal cavity, has a low incidence of complications, subjectively improves symptoms, and is well tolerated.
