Abstract
The component of realism in bucolic poetry is the object of a large debate among the studies on Theocritus. The use of term ἀλάθεια recurring in two passages of the Idylls V e VII demonstrates how the concept of “truth” has a complex relation not only with the knowledge of reality of the pastoral world, but also with an idea of aesthetic coherence which is intimate part of the conception of bucolic poetry as an erudite and refined literary experiment.File in questo prodotto:
