Authors discuss their experience about 54 patients who underwent sclerouveotumorectomy. In 45 patients they got both anatomical and functional successful results. Three out of 54 patients were, then, enucleated because of relapses. Three of them got a phthisis bulbi. The most frequent side-effects were: cortico-nuclear cataract (33.3%), retinal detachment (17.8%), choroidal detachment (16%), vitreous haemorrhages (12.2%), phthisis bulbi (5.6%), maculopathy (5.6%), relapses (5.6%), metastases (1.9%), death (1.9%). As for retinal detachment and haemovitreous they underwent a surgery. As for phthisis bulbi one patient was tamponaded by 1000 cs silicon oil (PDMS) for long time.

Abstract
As for phthisis bulbi one patient was tamponaded by 1000 cs silicon oil (PDMS) for long time.Pubblicazioni consigliate
