Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a sleep-related disorder resulting in apneic and hypopneic episodes during sleep. The purpose of this article was to present and discuss our experience with the Thornton Adjustable Positioner® (TAP) Splint (Scheu-Dental GmbH, Iserlohn, Germany; Orthosystem, Milan, Italy) in a consecutive series of patients affected by OSAS.

Abstract

Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a sleep-related disorder resulting in apneic and hypopneic episodes during sleep.
