After an earthquake, rescuers need to quickly assess the stability of the buildings concerned, in order to define safe intervention strategies immediately after the event, but also to be able to design provisional works that prevent further damage to the structure, even after seismic replicas. These temporary structures should be controlled over time, to ensure that they are actually adequate to prevent the deterioration of the building, even many months or years after the seismic event. In this paper the authors aim to investigate if it is possible to monitor over time the interested buildings, using innovative technologies in the sector, to evaluate the provisional structures effectiveness. In particular, a Laser Scanner technique will be examined from a metrological point of view, to evaluate its adequacy in assessing the efficacy of provisional measures raised to stabilize the façade of a building. The paper will illustrate the methodology defined and the preliminary results of the tests carried out in a real scenario on buildings damaged by the 2009 Central Italy earthquake.

Abstract
The paper will illustrate the methodology defined and the preliminary results of the tests carried out in a real scenario on buildings damaged by the 2009 Central Italy earthquake.Pubblicazioni consigliate
