Abstract

The role that the consumer has acquired within society is not only an economic role but also a juridical one because the consumer, as a weak subject, has become the recipient of a microsystem of norms that tends to protect him/her in the negotiation and in the relationship with entrepreneurs. The civil code of 1942, which also provides for legal institutions aimed at regulating cases in which disparities and asymmetries are created in negotiations with entrepreneurs, leaves room for the consumer code, in a context that sees the development of new issues linked to technology and also to artificial intelligence.
