The research presented here aims to define an operational procedure for analysing historic masonry arch bridges and developing digital replicas. Through the integration of different disciplines and tools, the digital model of the historic bridge of Fossa has been created. It represents the starting point for developing a Digital Twin for conservation and protection – Historic Digital Twin (HDT).
