We read the paper entitled “The practice of regional anesthesia during the COVID-19 pandemic: an international survey of members of three regional anesthesia societies” by Dr Uppal et al., with greatinterest. Frequently, given the resumption of elective surgical activities at full capacity, patients, even recovered from severe forms of covid, are scheduled for interventions. Pulmonary sequalae related to SARS-cov2 infection, are increasingly numerous and raise questions about correct anaesthetic strategy to ensure patient safety.
