A method is reported for making cellodextrins by strong sulfuric acid hydrolysis, where the cellodextrins are precipitated from the acid with ethanol. This avoids the formation of large quantities of salts due to the neutralization step used in the other methods, and hence expedites separation of the cellodextrins into pure components by aqueous liquid chromatography.

Abstract
A method is reported for making cellodextrins by strong sulfuric acid hydrolysis, where the cellodextrins are precipitated from the acid with ethanol. This avoids the formation of large quantities of salts due to the neutralization step used in the other methods, and hence expedites separation of the cellodextrins into pure components by aqueous liquid chromatography.File in questo prodotto:
