Un nuovo ospedale per la tubercolosi. Dibattito e progettazione nell’attività giovanile dell’ingegnere-architetto Cesare Valle (1902-2000)

In his initial career, Cesare Valle tackles the pressing problem of hospitalization of tuberculosis patients between dissemination and planning, both preceded by accurate research on the national and international state of the art. His project for the hospital of the Pio Institute in Rome, never built, found ample space in the context of the First International Exhibition on the fight against tuberculosis, organized in Rome in the Palazzo delle Esposizioni between September and October 1928. Almost unknown, but equally unfortunate, was his project of the first months of 1933 for an anti-tuberculosis dispensary commissioned by the Provincial Anti-tuberculosis Consortium of L'Aquila
