Virtuality must explain how the intensive can give rise to the extensive, how the «metric» emerges from the «non-metric» by passing through «a cascade of symmetry breaks». Can those strange philosophers called «Megarics» help us in this effort to define a new status for Nature naturing? Bergson’s critique of determinism entails a reassess ment and a new interpretation of the Megaric hypothesis.
