This paper investigates some areas of the wide world of poetry, trying to trace them in the compositional dynamics of the Valdoca theatre. The particular fortune and continuity with which this company manages scenic and poetic writing co-presence, seem to hide more than the right harmony between the two parts: the playwright Mariange- la Gualtieri and the director Cesare Ronconi. What we would like to suggest below is that the two authorial forces cooperate referring to a third ele- ment which makes the meeting possible: a common logic, the ‘logic of poetry’.
