The paper is an introduction to Jonas Cohn’s essay "Hegels Ästhetik" (1902), whose theses are placed in the context of the theses previously presented by Cohn in "Allgemeine Ästhetik" (1901). The paper also shows how the themes presented by Cohn anticipate the scenarios of the Hegel-Renaissance in the context of German Neo-Kantianism.
