Aim of this work was to investigate on delivery modalities in Abruzzo and in the neighbouring. the study has been done in 33 delivery points, publics or privates. The analyses, shows that in the various centres exist the possibility, to organize the delivery in a way, in which the woman become protagonist of this event. However, only few centres follow non conventional delivery methods and not continually. The limitations due to the difficulty to receive the suitable instruments.
