The Casone plain is known in literature for having brought to light the remains of one of the largest necropolises of the Valdelsa, known above all thanks to numerous explorations in the nineteenth century linked to the figure of Giulio Vagnoli Terrosi. The podere Milanese area, in particular, already known following an emergency intervention in 2010, has recently become the subject of a systematic investigation project. The investigations, started in 2019 and interrupted early due to pandemic events, were then resumed in 2024 with a three-year research concession. The contribution intends to present the preliminary results of the two excavation campaigns, which made it possible to bring to light new data on the necropolis, in particular for the late Archaic and the Hellenistic phases.

Abstract
The Casone plain is known in literature for having brought to light the remains of one of the largest necropolises of the Valdelsa, known above all thanks to numerous explorations in the nineteenth century linked to the figure of Giulio Vagnoli Terrosi. The podere Milanese area, in particular, already known following an emergency intervention in 2010, has recently become the subject of a systematic investigation project. The investigations, started in 2019 and interrupted early due to pandemic events, were then resumed in 2024 with a three-year research concession. The contribution intends to present the preliminary results of the two excavation campaigns, which made it possible to bring to light new data on the necropolis, in particular for the late Archaic and the Hellenistic phases.Pubblicazioni consigliate
