The primary goal of electricity managers and providers is to ensure ever greater service reliability and have an increasingly resilient grid. For these reasons, the focus is mostly on prevention rather than resolution of possible problems and/or faults. The purpose of this research is to provide a valid and useful tool for the evaluation the Health Index of transformers, including the analysis of power quality, to plan preventive actions aimed at maintaining the grids efficiency. This paper presents a Matlab application for calculating the Health Index of transformers based on chemical and physical analyses of oil and operational conditions. Additionally, methodologies will be proposed for service conditions, comparing the recorded histories of currents, voltages, and oil temperature.

Abstract
The primary goal of electricity managers and providers is to ensure ever greater service reliability and have an increasingly resilient grid. For these reasons, the focus is mostly on prevention rather than resolution of possible problems and/or faults. The purpose of this research is to provide a valid and useful tool for the evaluation the Health Index of transformers, including the analysis of power quality, to plan preventive actions aimed at maintaining the grids efficiency. This paper presents a Matlab application for calculating the Health Index of transformers based on chemical and physical analyses of oil and operational conditions. Additionally, methodologies will be proposed for service conditions, comparing the recorded histories of currents, voltages, and oil temperature.Pubblicazioni consigliate
