Abstract
As part of the modernisation of hospital facilities undertaken in various Italian cities, in 1937 Vercelli too was faced with the problem of the old hospital, no longer adequate for modern health needs, and chose to build a new building on the immediate outskirts of the city, which was designed by Ettore Rossi, an architect specialising in the hospital branch, as an efficient ‘health machine’ but also a new architectural and urban pole.File in questo prodotto:
