The volume contains the works from the Meeting Luigi Credaro e la “Rivista Pedagogica”, which took place in Sondrio on September 21-22, 2007, and includes also other contributions including a memoir on Luigi Credaro as Member of the Lincean Academy by Alberto Quadrio Curzio. The book, together with the cultural event it recounts (especially the speeches by Franco Cambi and Nicola Siciliani de Cumis and the Round Table speech by Luciano Pazzaglia) is a clear statement of the need to rediscover, propose and revive the lively, productive and vibrant relationship between Credaro and the magazine he basically founded on June 29, 1907 and directed for more than twenty years (out of the little more than thirty years of editorial life of the magazine). The book submits this relationship to a new, updated critical analysis more in tune with the new developments in education theory and pedagogical epistemology. In this view, it becomes necessary to research the possible relationship between the Kantian-Herbartian model developed by Credaro and the “Rivista” in the time between the two World Wars and the one that defines the “critical pedagogy” of the late 20th – early 21st century.

Abstract
In this view, it becomes necessary to research the possible relationship between the Kantian-Herbartian model developed by Credaro and the “Rivista” in the time between the two World Wars and the one that defines the “critical pedagogy” of the late 20th – early 21st century.Pubblicazioni consigliate
