Design and Development of Web 2.0 Applications

Our work focuses on model-driven business transformation and, specifically, on the techniques that enable better automation from business modeling to software solution. Through several business automation engagements, we gained experience in enterprise-level solution design process and use-case driven software development. The new aspect of our methodology is the direct transformation of use cases into code. Our goal is to improve the solution of the design process to meet business requirements and reduce development time. As part of the methodology, we use a software framework (Bluedeep), which has an important role to conform and connect application design with business domain model elements and to help maintaining the design integrity through automatic generation of main web constructs. Our work mainly focuses on the design process, and it also describes the use of the framework. We provide an agile and flexible industrial methodology that is capable of transforming an analysis model to code. As directly experienced, the results of this research show to be very effective to supply tools and techniques of great support to a working team.
