Abstract

María Zambrano entrusts a high-minded message to fatherly pedagogical mission, that «honda huella en el alma de aquella niña» («remains deeply impressed in that little girl’s soul»). This message extends to the problems of justice, as Hoffmannstahl meant it. In this way, it is unavoidably connected with the concept of attention in the refined play of balances between subject and object, between the ego and the other, between individual and society, where is not possible to separate politics from ethics. The rich, melodious and dizzy authoress’ reflection always hints at that justice, meant as its origin, where every passionate speech doesn’t remain limited by a mere artificial rhetoric, but aims to an experience that is entirely lived with the world, in the outlook of personal world, that reminds of José Ortega y Gasset’s thought. This essay means to call to mind the vocación of the woman devoted to philosophy, never separated from the "vocación de hija" (vocation of daughter), that intends to search a saviour dimension of politics through the poetic-vital way of thinking.
