Abstract

In the latest years, policies toward the diffusion of electric vehicles received a lot of attention in many countries. Important efforts of researchers and engineers are focused on the development of high performance quick charging stations, that allow a significant reduction of charging time without negative effects on the battery systems. In this paper a suitable automatic test system is proposed. It makes possible the experimental characterization in realistic conditions of a quick charging system complying with CHAdeMO [1] protocol. In the paper test system features are described and some experimental results presented and discussed.
