This paper reports the results of a preliminary dynamic analysis of guideway stress due to the transit of UAQ4 type magnetic levitating vehicle the technology of which is based on the interaction between high temperature superconductors on board and permanent magnets distributed on the guideway. The dynamic three-dimensional model based on multibody analysis is developed and dynamic simulation of ride of the maglev bogie is carried out. The force components at the sleeper-guideway joints are numerically evaluated and analyzed imposing the vehicle running conditions and load. The results are presented and discussed in term of time histories.
