This paper has two aims. The first is to develop the interfacing of arbitrarily complex electronic circuits, that have negligible electromagnetic wave propagation effects to a full-wave approach in which an equivalent lumped network represents Maxwell electromagnetic field equations. The second is to develop the equivalent circuit, suitable for the above mentioned electromagnetic solution technique, of the well known perfectly matched layer absorbing boundary conditions. This new circuit model is called a perfectly matched network. Comparison between reference values and those given by these models are presented as validation. Detailed discussion of the electric properties of these circuits is also offered.

Abstract
This paper has two aims. The first is to develop the interfacing of arbitrarily complex electronic circuits, that have negligible electromagnetic wave propagation effects to a full-wave approach in which an equivalent lumped network represents Maxwell electromagnetic field equations. The second is to develop the equivalent circuit, suitable for the above mentioned electromagnetic solution technique, of the well known perfectly matched layer absorbing boundary conditions. This new circuit model is called a perfectly matched network. Comparison between reference values and those given by these models are presented as validation. Detailed discussion of the electric properties of these circuits is also offered.Pubblicazioni consigliate
