The Multiple Scale Method is adopted to obtain the bifurcation equations reduced to normal form for a generalized Hopf bifurcation in primary resonance conditions having codimension three. The results obtained are used to analyze the post-critical scenarios for a mechanical system made of two rigid bars subjected to a wind flow acting orthogonally to the plane of the system.

Abstract
