Abstract The complexity, typical of the project in historicized contexts, has until now paid a widespread prohibition with few examples of recovery focusing on energy efficiency and BiPV. The need to rebuild the housing stock after the earthquake of 2009 in various centers of the crater of L'Aquila in Italy, poses even more problems in the recovery strategies. The study presented, starting from the methodological approach of a “sustainable reconstruction”, deepens the theme of “photovoltaic integrability” in these contexts, as an opportunity for a "possible" and "duty" architectural and performance valorization in the reconstruction process. The outcome of this research, including some examples developed in specific contexts, is the development of guidelines for integrating BIPV in the reconstruction process. This goal, once perfected and shared, will become a basic guide for local authorities and operators, to guide the politic of reconstruction on a path of innovation, at the same time eco-friendly, technologically advanced and in full respect of historical, environmental and landscape values of these places.

Abstract
This goal, once perfected and shared, will become a basic guide for local authorities and operators, to guide the politic of reconstruction on a path of innovation, at the same time eco-friendly, technologically advanced and in full respect of historical, environmental and landscape values of these places.Pubblicazioni consigliate
