—In the present paper we describe a satellite ranging measurement experimental campaign. Measures were made on the Telstar 12 Eutelsat satellite, using the general purpose laboratory instrument ANRITSU MS2830A spectrum/signal analyzer and vector signal generator. All measurements were carried at Telespazio Fucino Space Centre (Central Italy). The developed approach can measure the satellite ranging in real- time and correct the Doppler effect, producing accurate results.
