The project for repairing and seismically strengthening Palitti Palace, a listed building heavily damaged by the earthquake of 6th April 2009, takes on the theoretical ap-proaches and operational policies of a conservative action, by seeking levels of compatibility and consistency with requirements imposed by the particular context. As part of an active conservation project, in the light of the enacting cognitive framework and its historical-critical interpretation, specific operational guidelines have been identified to which subsequent phases of the project and of the proposed intervention should be bound. The observations of the critical conditions of the historic building after the earthquake resulted in an investigation campaign and a project of intervention repair and post-earthquake rehabilita-tion not according to general criteria, but according to precise and measured necessities. This paper aims to show, by analysing an actual intervention case, the criticalities generated by conservative and post-earthquake reconstruction and the consequent possible solutions.

Abstract
This paper aims to show, by analysing an actual intervention case, the criticalities generated by conservative and post-earthquake reconstruction and the consequent possible solutions.Pubblicazioni consigliate
