After a brief introduction about geographical, geo-morphological and climatic features of the area and about the history of botanical investigations, flora and vegetation principal traits of the Sirente-Velino Regional Natural Park are shown. The aim is to point out the phytogeographic peculiarities, with special attention to species and phytocoenoses responding to a relevant interest in nature conservation.
