The Carli Benedetti Palace has been the subject-matter of various studies during the recent restoration after the 2009 earthquake. The building site has also hosted microclimatic investigations (Indoor Air Quality), the results of which are shown in this volume. During the conservation works many interesting traces of transformations have been observed; in particular, here we note the presence of ‘technological systems’ dating back to remote eras, illustrated in relation to the different historical phases. The result is a new interpretation of the technological equipment of the past centuries (14th-20th centuries), as well as of the transformations that took place in the light of the functional needs and the microclimatic consequences of these (eg closure of loggia, windows changes). These observations contribute to the knowledge of past constructive ways, in line with the recent development of the HIM (Historical Indoor Microclimate).

Abstract
These observations contribute to the knowledge of past constructive ways, in line with the recent development of the HIM (Historical Indoor Microclimate).Pubblicazioni consigliate
