This brief reflection was born from the reading One-Dimensioal Man by Herbert Marcuse, whose theoretical treatments played a central role in 1960s. This work itallowed us to create our critical path towards the interpretation of the “repressive desublimation”, cage of the transcendence, in analogy with thinking other authors more or less close to the topics dealt with by Marcuse.
