The contribution analyzes the results of two of the surveys conducted within the #ShareEU Project by the Italian team on aspects concerning citizens' beliefs and attitudes towards European integration, citizenship and citizenship skills. In this direction, the investigations are aimed at tracing and decoding citizens' dissatisfaction or satisfaction with democratic processes and coexistence. All these aspects that help to interpret the meaning of "democratic life".
