The Sars-Cov-2 pandemic can be seen as an opportunity to study the effects of biological risk on the city, both in terms of form and urban services. The objective of the study presented in this article is to define a methodological path to determine the critical urban issues of the post-pandemic city, define the actions to be taken to reduce or eliminate these critical issues and thus the biological risk, and apply these actions to a case study. The methodology was also supported by a study on urban design strategies and techniques that could be selected from an anti-pandemic perspective, based on a review of the scientific literature. The application case chosen was a neighbourhood in the city of Cassino. The study of the city, structured at a methodological level, was approached through the preparation of a specific cognitive framework followed by synthetic and thematic readings, based on the interpretation of the systems of paths and public spaces, and the definition of a qualitative assessment system of urban resilience from which emerged the design issues in an anti-pandemic key to be addressed through the strategies identified in the methodological phase. The application of these strategies and related actions to the case study focused on the emerging role of open public spaces and resulted in a new configuration of neighbourhood spaces (in terms of shape, size, materials, uses, ecc.) with new services.

Abstract
The application of these strategies and related actions to the case study focused on the emerging role of open public spaces and resulted in a new configuration of neighbourhood spaces (in terms of shape, size, materials, uses, ecc.) with new services.Pubblicazioni consigliate
