The Provincial Neuropsychiatric Hospital of L’Aquila is an architectural complex of considerable cultural interest showing, like other italian examples, the use of cutting-edge construction systems. In particular, thanks to literature research and on-site surveys, the presence of ducts for natural ventilation is observed. This work presents the possibilities offered by the conservation of the original equipments for the enhancement of this valuable place.
