The present paper intends to dwell on the early phases of Cesare Valle’s youthful activity as engineer-architect and on his way of tackling the solution on the complex health problem connected to the spread of tuberculosis, a rampant disease, in years of uncertainty about the prevention, treatment and containment of the infection. Suitable solutions to face architectural and urban scale with an up-to-date look at national and international level.
