Three-dimensional modeling in architectural integrated information systems Aim of the research is the study of 3D models’ characteristics for architectural heritage, in particular according to their use for the realization of Informative Systems. Models have to be useful to collect, correlate and analyse the vast and heterogeneous mass of documentary data, both historical and current – also deriving from restoring site surveys –, with the three-dimensional physical nature of the building. From here derive the two basic themes: the correlation surveying/3D model, in relation to the integrated surveying methods and to the definition of standards for digital modelling; the correlation 3D model/Informative System with the study of the relationship between model’s structuring and information content. In particular the semantic model’s characteristics have been defined for GIS integration through their articulation according to the building’s constructive system.

Abstract
In particular the semantic model’s characteristics have been defined for GIS integration through their articulation according to the building’s constructive system.Pubblicazioni consigliate
