In the context of the full inclusion of Italian school, this work presents a pilot study included in the SApIE research Reading Comprehension – Reciprocal Teaching (RC-RT). The study is focused on the application of the reciprocal teaching to improve the reading comprehension of students with moderate intellectual disability. The research plan has considered the use of a didactic program designed for these students and closely related to the reciprocal teaching activities planned for all the class. The work describes how the reciprocal teaching program has been adapted for students with medium intellectual disability and it proposes a reflection about the results of an empirical application in the Primary school.
