Tratturi senza “barriere”. Strumenti operativi per l’accessibilità dei percorsi montani

Universal Design represents the operational horizon for research that aims to propose satisfactory solutions to the issues of accessibility of public spaces and barrier– free, within a general rediscovery and enhancement of mountain trails and, in particular, of the historical ones related to transhumance, as in the case of the Tratturo Magno. From the point of view of Design for all, the research adopts strategies that combine project actions with the specificities of each trail rather than generic or standardized design choices. To make it possible, we want to propose an operational protocol, structured in four phases, which guides the progression of preliminary steps of the project from the initial survey to the compilation of a compatibility matrix, suggesting the design actions that better than others fit the characteristics of sheep tracks. The final outcome is the draft of a smart tool, able of driving and informing a project that addresses the theme of accessibility.
