In this chapter, some advanced material of stability, structural properties, and state–feedback and output–feedback control of linear time–invariant systems are presented. Then, the main control techniques for nonlinear systems are summarized, giving some advanced notions of nonlinear control. These nonlinear methodologies include backstepping, feedback linearization, sliding mode control, output regulation, H∞ control. Also, some notions on identification via neuro–observers are provided. Finally, an example of application of these nonlinear techiniques is given for the control of a nuclear power plant.

Abstract
In this chapter, some advanced material of stability, structural properties, and state–feedback and output–feedback control of linear time–invariant systems are presented. Then, the main control techniques for nonlinear systems are summarized, giving some advanced notions of nonlinear control. These nonlinear methodologies include backstepping, feedback linearization, sliding mode control, output regulation, H∞ control. Also, some notions on identification via neuro–observers are provided. Finally, an example of application of these nonlinear techiniques is given for the control of a nuclear power plant.File in questo prodotto:
